Limitations
- Total population: Figures are mid-year population estimates. Changes are calculated only when observations exist at both endpoints.
- Life expectancy at birth: A period measure based on current mortality rates, not a prediction for an individual.
- Total fertility rate: The sum of period age-specific fertility rates; it is not the completed fertility of a woman or real cohort.
- GDP per capita, PPP: Because values are in current international dollars, changes over time are not real growth and do not represent personal disposable income.
- Annual GDP growth: Change from the previous year in a constant-price series; historical differences are shown in percentage points.
- Total unemployment: ILO modelled estimate. Historical differences are expressed in percentage points.
- Individuals using the Internet: Availability and estimation methods vary across countries and years; changes are expressed in percentage points.
- Renewable energy consumption: This measures final energy consumption, not electricity generation alone. Changes are expressed in percentage points.
- Population growth: WDI observations are shown without interpolation by MetaphAI; reference years and coverage can differ across countries.
- Infant mortality: WDI observations are shown without interpolation by MetaphAI; reference years and coverage can differ across countries.
